Objective
It’s a 7-days training course on the topic of social entrepreneurship, fully funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. During the training, we will discover WHAT a social enterprise is and WHY this model can be so beneficial. We will share real-life examples of successful social enterprises, and later on -create realistic business plans ourselves.
- To study existing examples of social enterprises through case studies and research.
- To create a common understanding of financial management, sustainability and their benefits.
- To enhance participants’ ICT skills, namely creating digital materials and online research of data.
- To support participants in developing realistic models of sustainable social enterprises
- To promote including people with fewer opportunities through various projects and activities.

In the beautiful surroundings of Vanaõue, Estonia, 22 passionate and dedicated youth workers from Finland, Portugal, North Macedonia, Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Ukraine, Romania, Malta, and Estonia have come together for an inspiring and transformative journey. This gathering marks the commencement of a 7-day training course on the topic of Financial Management for NGOs. What makes this course all the more amazing is that it is fully funded by the prestigious Erasmus+ Programme.
The participants have eagerly embarked on this educational adventure, driven by a common purpose – to gain a deeper understanding of the financial structures of social enterprises and the profound impact they can have on societies. Throughout the course, they will unravel the essence of what a social enterprise truly is, and explore the multitude of reasons why this innovative model holds immense potential for positive change. Against the backdrop of a nurturing and inclusive environment, these youth workers embraced a holistic approach to learning. Guided by experienced trainers and experts in the field, they will delve into the intricate world of financial management in the nonprofit sector. From exploring effective fundraising strategies to understanding budgeting and financial planning, every aspect of financial sustainability were examined and analyzed. The participants also had the opportunity to gain insights into the best practices followed by successful social enterprises around the globe.
