Cyclo Project has been established in early 2017, leading by the graduate students from Tampere University, Finland. Our aim is pursuing how we could share the idea of sustainable co-creation development through cultural youth projects in European countries. Since 2023, we have more focused on ‘moving rural youth forward’, Youth Goal no.6 under EU Youth Strategy.
We have provided for example local youth activities in cultural works co-creating with citizens, industries, academies, organization, and municipalities. These activities have been organized since 2017. For example, in 2019, we held ‘Cyclo Project Turku in 2019’ which served multi-art festival together with local citizens supports. Since 2021 August we granted Scandinavian-Sasakawa grant for renovation project in Japan collaborating with Finnish students, locals, industries and Japanese academic etc. which have been operating every year since 2021 summer.
For our group’s participation in all projects, our experience in the relevant field, volunteering activities, socializing with young people through various activities, awareness- raising activities on subjects such as culture, art, education, European volunteer service and the training we have received on the Erasmus + program are suitable for our members.
